Open to visitors all year round. Closed on Mondays and on 1st January, 1st May, 1st & 11th November and 25th December.
From September 1st to June 30th: from 9.30am to 12.45pm and from 2pm to 6pm.
From 1st July to 31st August: from 9.30am to 12.45pm and from 2pm to 6.30pm.
Last admission 45 minutes before closing.

From Paris or Lyons: A6 motorway, Pouilly-en-Auxois exit
From Dijon: A38 motorway, Sombernon exit, then road D977bis
By bike: take the Burgundy Canal cycle path and exit at Rèpe – between Pont de Bois and Vandenesse-en-Auxois, as far as the castle

Motorcycles: free helmet storage on request at the reception desk
Cyclists: bicycle rack (without padlocks) at the site entrance. Free bike helmet storage on request at the castle reception. Attention, only mountain bike shoes are allowed. Racing bike shoes with studs are prohibited.

Children
A game book in French is currently being prepared. It will be available for children from 4 years old.
Pushchairs, which are not allowed on the site, can be parked in the courtyard.

Please make an appointment for guided tours of the castle.

Pets not allowed
Pets are not allowed within the castle grounds (even in a rucksack) with the exception of guide or assistance dogs.
Reservation of the castle
Reservation of space in the castle is possible under certain conditions for receptions or filming. Please contact the castle.
Limited disabled access (currently)
Limited accessibility (currently) of the site for people with motor disabilities. Please inquire before you come or at the reception desk.
Castle Shop
The shop offers art, historical and technical books, novels, as well as playful and decorative objects for children and adults.
Tourist Offices
Prepare your day, weekend or holiday in Châteauneuf (visits, accommodation, restaurants, etc.) with the Tourist Offices in the surrounding area.
Keep your entry ticket!
It entitles you to a discount on admission to Commarin Castle (5 km away from Châteauneuf) as well as La Billebaude, a boat moored in the port at Pouilly-en-Auxois on the Burgundy Canal.
